I have never read a book that made me visualize the characters as this story! I loved how the writer made me wonder what was next! I didn't think Alex brothers would ever accept Kimble, but they did. This is my favorite Author, I enjoyed this book in its entirety! Nothing like a hot, steamy love between two lovers! It will rekindle your fire! Awesome job to the author, a must read for all romance readers!!!

Kimble...smh that poor guy was trying to fight it he really did but Alex wasn't having none of that she wanted her man. It was a good read with some action that I didn't see coming. Had me close to tears at some parts. Can't for the next in the series.

This book was so bad. How dare this author get me hooked on this book. Lol…JK…I love this story. Kimble & Alex was a pair made for each other. I hope there will be books on Alex brothers and Kimble brothers and sister. I rate this book a 10!!!!

Delightful story of forbidden love. 19yo Alexandra has been in love with her brother's best friend Kimble for years but he's always seen her as a little sister. This changes when Alex decides she's waited long enough for Kimble to return her affections and sets out to seduce him. Kimble doesn't want to hurt Alex's feelings or let her know that he's feeling her too, for fear of losing his friendship with Trent and the whole Carter clan who sees him as a womanizer. Great story of love and family bonding with drama thrown in..
A few grammatical errors but I'd recommend.

"My Best Friend's Sister" is about Kimble Brown being in love with his best friend, Trent, sister, Alexandra Cater. Alexandra(Alex) has 5 OVER protective brothers who act like dogs and know what most men want from women. Unwilling to let their baby sister, Alex fall into that category of being dogged, they do everything in their power to try and protect her from men like themselves(dogs). Kimble Brown known for his doggish ways were Alex's brothers right hand man, and they knew all about his doggish ways because they all ran together, and even shared the same women. When Alex and Kimble hook up, all bets are off and the gloves come off. Who will get knocked out when the dust settles?
I'd highly recommend "My Best Friend's Sister." It's a cute love story that shows how the two main characters actually fall in love.
Overall rating: 5.0

"My Best Friend's Sister" Is the story of Alexandra Carter, an 18 year old college freshman who for years has had a crush on her older brother Trent's best friend Kimble Brown; a successful 23 year old model. Now that Alexandra has come of age, Kimble reveals his feelings to her; and they eventually embark in a relationship, while trying to hide it from Alexandra's protective family. The story is heart warming, and beautifully written by author Tiffany Parker. I reccomend that anyone who reads novels, make this one a part of their collection!

This was very well written. The story was long, and kept you interested throughout the whole book. There really were no lulls in the entire storyline. I have to admit the author did have me guessing. I never expected Kimball and Alex to go the distance, or even have any type of relationship whatsoever and it was just so strong, In romance novels there is always some type of conflict to pull the leads apart, but with this story, throughout all of their family drama that they went through, Kimball and Alex stayed true to each other which was wonderful. This was a gr8 way to start and series.
A review by Lady Raven Rave:
This was amazing story telling at it's best. I have to admit the book is lengthy at 548KB which is 7,576 in length but worth every penny. Even though the book is so long, when your reading it it doesn't seem draining, it actually flowed through and took me a half a day to read. I have to also admit when the story started with Alexandra being 18, I was rolling my eyes but I liked her, she knew what she wanted and never gave up. The story started out with Alex being 18 and Kimble 23, but throughout the book you saw as the years go by they became more and the story with their whole family got good and interesting.
Alex was always in love with Kimble. Kimble felt the same way and found it hard not to act upon his feelings, because he is best friends with Alex's 5 brothers, mainly Trenton. Alex's brothers are Dillion, Trenton, Rayden, Rayvon and Elray. All five brothers are very very over protective of their little sister and this puts a strain on Kimble and Alex. The first part of the book takes you on a journey of the budding relationship between Kimble and Alex and what they do to try and hide their relationship from her family. As both Alex and Kimble got a little older they became more involved, she becomes pregnant and they both got married without anyone knowing.
Second half of the book is what comes next after the family finds out. Of course some of the brothers aren't too happy with finding out this information. Kimble and Alex must keep strong and trust each other to build their relationship. The brothers, mainly Elray tries his best to break up the couple and prove to his sister that Kimble is still a player, but soon after it all backfires and someone gets hurt. Especially when some of Kimble's ex bed partners, comes back into play. Elray redeem himself for me but he was trifling sometimes, it felt like when Alex and Kimble took 2 steps forward they took 3 steps back with little surprises with Kimble's past.
Surely for me a good read, I laugh and cried a bit mainly towards the end as everyone's emotion is on high. Worth the buy and read. There is also a story available about one of the brothers. That one looks even longer but will surely put on my to read list.

I am a sucker for series and I so hope this is one...I really enjoyed reading about the LOVE that Kimble and Alex had for one another even though they tried to hide their feelings for one another....not wanting to risk his relationship with her bothers....but will the LOVE Kimble has for Alex make it worth the RISK......
A review by Tamika Woods:
I loved this book from beginning to end. Alexandra Carter was a little hot mama with her eyes on her brother's best friend, Kimble Brown, who has been a part of the family forever. As Alex, gets older she mature into to a young woman and Kimble can't help falling for her. Alex and Kimble have a wonderful relationship, but is he willing to give up the relationship he has with her brother and family.

Ok, seriously, I am in reading love with all of the men in this story! This book has everything from love, trust, misunderstandings and back to love again. Mrs. Parker has captured the beginning of true love to true commitment. This is a great story with a great plot. The characters and story line flow together with ease.
Even for a dominant personality like Elray Carter, love can knock you off your feet when you least expect it. Serena James is a street smart biker who was not looking for a relationship when Elray came into her life. Mutual attraction, then love makes the perfect backdrop for family loyalty, a crazy ex and surprise on top of surprise. The extended family in this story are fiercely protective of their own and will do whatever it takes to protect each other.
The chemistry and intimacy in the book is smoking hot. I will rate it a 10 out of 10. I can literally see myself as a character in the book. This is book 2 in the Forbidden Love Series, but you can read it without feeling like you are lost. The first book is My Best Friend's Sister. I will review that later because there is so much 'hotness' in that one that I have to get my words together.
Congratulations on a great book and I am so looking forward to the next book in this series.
****I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK****

Serena James has ambitions of becoming a speed racer. She might be from a rough neighborhood but she’s pure class and quality. Supermodel Elray Carter is not a racer but his brothers are and he moves in their circle. He is immediately captivated by the beautiful woman, Serena, who is unstoppable on a bike. Serena has feelings for Elray but she doubts whether he could truly love a girl from the wrong side of the tracks. They embark on a tentative romance that is quickly destroyed by Serena’s home life. After a brief stint away, Serena returns to pick up her life but she’s not alone; she gave birth to Elray’s daughter while away. Elray is angry but happy to learn he has fathered a child and has every intention of being there for his child and Serena. The separation showed them they have deeper feelings worth exploring. As Serena and Elray become close once again their relationship suffers another blow, this time one more devastating than the first. Elray must stand up to his responsibilities as a man but Serena is not sure she has it in her to be the supportive partner he will need.
Just when you think you’ve read enough and found the best, then comes another novel that just shifts your perspective. Serena by Tiffany Parker did that for me. I was prepared to like the novel because I thought the plot was interesting but the more I read, the more I got caught up in these characters and their lives. There are some really entertaining although sometime somber issues addressed in the novel. Substance and sexual abuse, abandonment by a parent, children who cope with being the product of a relationship not forged from love and so much more are addressed in the novel. Serena gives the readers all these deep topics but holds its integrity as a contemporary romance novel. Serena’s character is a perfect example of an author thinking out of the box because a female who rides and works on race cars in not your typical female heroine. This makes her super-sexy especially since she does all that but remains very sensual at the same time. Elray is a model and he’s simply breathtaking. He could have any woman but he only desires Serena. After completing this novel, I read the author’s bio and I must say Ms. Parker is on point when she shares that her “romances deal with real life and real issues prevalent in relationships.” This is my first exposure to Ms. Parker’s work and I am definitely a new fan. Serena is excellent, excellent writing; a story that is gripping, gut-wrenching and heartfelt. I love a romance that tells it like it is but gives you a sweet, sweet ending. Serena will be a favorite for many readers for many reasons.
